Edge of The World
We swam together to the other side of the world
We fought the odds,
Came out stronger and braver
Still, my love, things weren't perfect
Slowly, we drifted apart
Tell me how to fix things
I want back our joy, our bliss
For some reason, though, I can't recover anything
The more I try to make things work, the more I mess them up
And it's driving me mad, love
I'm standing on the edge of the world,
Wondering if I should jump or not
We accomplished tons of things
We were blessed, meant to be
But we were't really, darling
All that we were promised was lies
We built a future together, and it came crashing down
Your love can't save me
No prayer can restore me back to sanity
I've lost all I cared about, sent to hell all that was left
And now, as tears stream down my face, I jump off the edge of world,
Bracing myself for when I hit the rocks
We fought the odds,
Came out stronger and braver
Still, my love, things weren't perfect
Slowly, we drifted apart
Tell me how to fix things
I want back our joy, our bliss
For some reason, though, I can't recover anything
The more I try to make things work, the more I mess them up
And it's driving me mad, love
I'm standing on the edge of the world,
Wondering if I should jump or not
We accomplished tons of things
We were blessed, meant to be
But we were't really, darling
All that we were promised was lies
We built a future together, and it came crashing down
Your love can't save me
No prayer can restore me back to sanity
I've lost all I cared about, sent to hell all that was left
And now, as tears stream down my face, I jump off the edge of world,
Bracing myself for when I hit the rocks
