The burning sun
The sun burns me deep
Hurts me terribly
Like embers from a fresh fire
Thrown on my eyes
And an icepick
Thrust in my head
The pain
Alternates
Burning
Stabbing
Heat
Peircing
Till it becomes to much
And I stumble backwards
Into cool darkness.
The shade feels so sweet,
So calm and refreshing
The darkness keeps
Me safe in it's grasp
From the gaze
Of the bright burning sun.
Hurts me terribly
Like embers from a fresh fire
Thrown on my eyes
And an icepick
Thrust in my head
The pain
Alternates
Burning
Stabbing
Heat
Peircing
Till it becomes to much
And I stumble backwards
Into cool darkness.
The shade feels so sweet,
So calm and refreshing
The darkness keeps
Me safe in it's grasp
From the gaze
Of the bright burning sun.
