Words are just air
How do I know
That you love me
When all you do
Is say it?
Words are air
They have no meaning
No root, no definite promise.
Words won't
make me happy.
How do I know if
I'm really yours
If all you do
Is say those
Three pathetic words?
Air, dust, nothing
Are what you give me
And I give up.
I'm leaving you,
Abandoning you,
Forgetting you.
Your words
Hurt because every
time you speak them
I know it's
Just air.
That you love me
When all you do
Is say it?
Words are air
They have no meaning
No root, no definite promise.
Words won't
make me happy.
How do I know if
I'm really yours
If all you do
Is say those
Three pathetic words?
Air, dust, nothing
Are what you give me
And I give up.
I'm leaving you,
Abandoning you,
Forgetting you.
Your words
Hurt because every
time you speak them
I know it's
Just air.
