Letters in the sky

There was no confusion
only kind understanding
forming words to evoke
playful smiles
i let my heart speak
for me
no longer needing my
tounge to do the duty
of speaking
i let my fingers glide
over the keyboard
with a controlled amount
of excitement
trying to show you
the appreciation
flowing through me
i never could understand
how sometimes
you knew exactly what i was
thinking
looking up at the sky
i cant keep
the tides
from escaping
but its ok
because in the end
were both looking
at the same sky
wishing on the same stars

we could never be stranger's
