Image for the poem Ether

Ether

The noble secures a cunning voice in luxury
Where as the beggar speaks of heavenly fables
The grandeur of aerial souls strewn in elegance
Pinpoint specks stained about the fabric of night
Celestial tongues of sanguine fog paint a bloody score
Sagittarius knelt down in a thicket of cosmic grit
Signals for Boötes to detach the star-eyed hounds
And the Canes Venatici scatter for the kill
As Orion sounds the horn, the hunt is rooted firmly
Lupus answers from the distance with a howl
Columba hurriedly flees, seeking pacifism
But for Vulpecula, an unchaste demise
Overhead in the tarnishing blush of sunlight
She wanes gracefully before us into dust
