At this point, our conscience weeps
Boundaries vanish and integrity sleeps
Promises torn and loyalty broken
A touch misplaced, and words unspoken
A step from the enclosed, into the vast
That once seen, is placed in the past
Speak forever now, but never another
A moment we share with only each other
Here now, not knowing the cost
At this point, our morality is lost
