searching for sanity

in the absence of a definate answer
   

     we sail through seas of questions
   

     with stupidity spreading like cancer
   

     we end up with no solutions, only suggestions
   

     no concrete path only twists in a maze
   

     watching others pass on roads already paved
   

     leaving everything to chance but our own intuition
   

     we embrace a future based on our own decisions
   

     far from reaching a state of self security
   

     we watch others expecting their impurities
   

     projections of what we see in ourselves
   

     we'd rather look in disgust at the flaws of someone else
   

     too afraid to admit we don't have it together
   

     we sit so smug and try to look clever
   

     preying on those who fail to see the play
   

     where we take there ideas for tomorrow
   

     and use them today
   

     it's all about succession in order to survive
   

     whatever brings pain to others we'll use to thrive
