Sin Equations

I’m forgiven
I’m for giving
I’m forbidden
I’m forgetting

It’s in my genes
I’m out my jeans
Caught in between
A rock and a soft place
A taste I can’t erase
A memory I can’t replace

I can’t press rewind
My Rock with a sad face
Sending rockets to blow up my spot
I’m giddy at the thought

I’ll break it into a million pieces
Destruction for goodness sake
Destroying a generation
For my own veneration

And build something new
I could have just withdrew
Saved that deposit for my kids future
Instead of spending it on my future kids

Now my legacy reborn
In out-of-wedlock statistics
And single parent homes
Some sins I’m ok with
I don’t want to get away with

But I think if I don’t insist
That fleeting lust desist
Make this life not exist
That I will be reborn

My math isn’t that great
So I’ll stand before the gate
And they’ll subtract 1 from -808
I’m dumb enough to think that’s a positive number
Fckng new math
