You’ll have to understand why Cerberus is grumpy
1. He’s perpetually stuck in guard duty, and unfortunately, no one else is willing and fitting for it.
2. He isn’t treated as a living being. Rather, he is treated as a wall. People don’t approach walls to befriend them. They just want to get to the other side.
3. He meets plenty of visitors, but they are not his. The visitors for him only want to slit his throat to rob the treasures behind him.
4. When Hades doesn’t permit entry or exit, he has to be sandwiched by emotions. He has to kill lovers, block fathers, and bear the two-fold empathy while remaining impartial.
5. Rows of fangs, stubborn and unyielding to sorrow, it’s his duty to be hated. It was part of the job description.
