I have no words
I just have hurt. 
Memories of times we laughed
Only makes it worse. 
The thought of what we had
Confuses me still.
Was I a future possibility?
Or just a temporary pill....
She thinks I lost a lover
I really lost a friend.
I'd give anything to have that simplicity again.
You and me laughing
That's what I'll remember most.
A parasitic memory
And me forever the host. 
Do I regret it?
I can't say I do.
I wouldn't be where I am now
Had it not been for you.
But I regret losing you
In more ways than one.
It makes me sad to say
That what's done is done......
A thousand years....
Has come and gone.
At least it seems like its been that long...
