Curtain Call
Teardrops falling,
cascading down my cheeks
As I gather my courage,
that was missing for weeks
Puddles forming on the floor
as I start to let go
I kick out the chair from under me,
swinging to a fro
Arms flailing,
I frantically try to catch my breath
Heart racing, the light fades, blackness,
all that remains is death
cascading down my cheeks
As I gather my courage,
that was missing for weeks
Puddles forming on the floor
as I start to let go
I kick out the chair from under me,
swinging to a fro
Arms flailing,
I frantically try to catch my breath
Heart racing, the light fades, blackness,
all that remains is death
