Pediophobia

Pediophobia
She strolled to her room
“Sweet Dreams”
Yes a goodnight sleep was in order.

Suddenly she froze
“The nursery room”
She trembled and cursed.

Sweet and childish on day
Eerie and Terrifying at night
“Keep walking and no peeking”.

Easier said than done
There they stood and stared
Forged innocence and artificial smiles.

“Porcelain and Plastic… The infernal match”
No matter how much she tried
Looking away was difficult.

Her paranoia increased
So did her insomnia
“Nightmares… Here I come”.
