Shadows
I was thinking to my self
How great it would be to live as a shadow
To be among the living without skin and flesh
Never having to worry about silly little things
There are bad things
Love would be worthless
Among the shadows
But on the other hand there are good things
No Racism
No Discrimination
Most of all no war
There would be no need for nuclear arms
Or destruction of poverty stricken worlds
Because among the shadows everybody gets along
In the shadows
There is no loneliness
Only the sun to keep you awake
Once the sun goes down you are asleep again
In the shadows you feel no pain
How great it would be to live as a shadow
To be among the living without skin and flesh
Never having to worry about silly little things
There are bad things
Love would be worthless
Among the shadows
But on the other hand there are good things
No Racism
No Discrimination
Most of all no war
There would be no need for nuclear arms
Or destruction of poverty stricken worlds
Because among the shadows everybody gets along
In the shadows
There is no loneliness
Only the sun to keep you awake
Once the sun goes down you are asleep again
In the shadows you feel no pain
