Why
Why do I keep messing with this fool
Why am I always left black and blue
I thought he was really coming though
But it was just to abuse me
Why do he always want to hurt me
Why can't he just let me be
I don't know what to do any more
I have no fight left
I gave my all and now I'm standing alone
No one to truly call a friend of my own
God's not listening or answering
Why Lord Why
Don't you think I've been thru enough
I'm tired! Can't fight a fight I just can't win
I look in the mirror and don't know who's looking back at me

My sweet Lady C. God always hears your prayers, but we don't always hear or except the change His answers may bring.
I think the first few lines here you answered yourself. Can't you see? He treats you the way he does cause you allow him to. You let him back in time after time. Be the strong Lady I know that you are and send him away for the last time. If you do not take a stand with him, he has no reason to change.
Send your love and energy to the one you know will treat you honorably. You are a great lady, so start seeing who you are in the mirror. You only see what he (person) wants you to see. See the person that God has made you to be, not what another has beat you into thinking you are.
You don't need to fight to be strong. Just make the right choices and God will guide you thru the rest. How you think of yourself is the biggest fight you will have. "Negative brings negative. Positive brings change."
