Stories of Love

I don' been in love a few times offerin them my all
Loving them with everything I wanted from them
Im not an easy lover, its hard for me to fall
But, sweet honey, when I do my love is out on a limb

I used to be scared of being hurt but one thing that love has taught me
You can avoid the inevitable, your gonna to have to choose
Because if you never love you never loose
And if you never loose you never learn the lessons that love has taught me

First there was Travis, with all that boyish charm
Thought that love would last a life time,
But if i only knew that everyone knew you like I wanted to
You told me you loved me and boy way that is the press
Little did I know you said that to everyone in a dress.

Then there was Kevin and he was my mistake,
Long dread locks flowing with that New Orleans swag
I Fell for you game not only once but thrice
I dont regret you and I hope you dont regret me
You taught me the lesson that no man
No man is worth my sanity

Since we are now up to date, I dare not leave out the love of my other
This one was sweet by the name of Flame and was he exhausting
When you love someone and they love you
There is nothing to prove, you only do what comes natural to you

Now that I have told you the lessons of my love
Dont get all caught thinking that there are none unlike the ones
I have listed above. Everyone has a time in a place
Your Mr. Right could be staring you in the face.
