Leaving my Chocolate

My last will and testament
For the unripe age of years
Behind me, savoring, longing
Sweet yet unsatisfying

It is like nirvana, tranquil
The rapture of the chocolate circles
Around like a moon orbitting
All centered to a mass. Me.

But years tend to shape out the chocolate,
It melts, breaks, bends
And will slowly be consumed by time
Little by little… paradise ends

But the taste of the chocolate
Remains, lingers, enticesT
he scent of paradise calls you
Back, back, back to revolve around you again

What would come to be of the chocolate’s return?
An illusion made from the long dead dream
A crude shield against a cold world
For the fiction to give warmth forever

I look back, staring at the crumbled pieces
Of my moon, my chocolate
I smile and pick up the pieces
Their allure invading back

I threw them strongly, letting them vanish
Against the cold air, against my cold hand
I will not get warmth from that chocolate
Never again, from that moon

Instead of the chocolate to burn for me,
I shall became a sun to light my own fire
