Deep Danger
Creeping and crawling
From the depths of the shadow
It gets closer and closer
‘Til its breath cuts the shallow
Waters down deep
For the fish to keep
Quiet.
It lurks unseen until the final scene
Of its leap to the kill
Its voice is so shrill
In the night
Oh, the fright
Of the kill.
It snaps and it bites, all bugs of the night
Keeping still, out of sight
Just in case
It sees them
And attacks
And it wrecks
Their lives.
Its prey is now dead and missing its head
As the monster takes down the scalp like a crown
To is lair
With dead hair
Keeping warm
In its bed
Victim bled.
From the depths of the shadow
It gets closer and closer
‘Til its breath cuts the shallow
Waters down deep
For the fish to keep
Quiet.
It lurks unseen until the final scene
Of its leap to the kill
Its voice is so shrill
In the night
Oh, the fright
Of the kill.
It snaps and it bites, all bugs of the night
Keeping still, out of sight
Just in case
It sees them
And attacks
And it wrecks
Their lives.
Its prey is now dead and missing its head
As the monster takes down the scalp like a crown
To is lair
With dead hair
Keeping warm
In its bed
Victim bled.
