i sit by myself everyday
and watch the world go by around me
figuring out people's story
there is one girl
she is so popular, with all her friends
always smiling, always happy
but her eyes tell me different.
she cries herself to sleep every night
as she listens to her parents screaming at each other downstairs
but no one knows.. except me
there is a boy
he is cool, collected, smart
he has it all going for him, his parents believe he has a great future
but i can see behind the lies
he works his hardest to even try to pass the course
he is addicted to drugs just to hide the stress he feels
but no one cares.

there is another girl.. she is an outcast
she is crying by herself and as people walk by, they talk about her
slut. whore. emo. devo. fucked up.
she has heard them all
everyone knows she sleeps with boys
no one knows it started because she was raped as a child
everyone knows they pay her
no one knows it is to pay for her mothers health bills
