Make an effort,
Or look like I don't care?
Spend hours on picking a shirt?
Hours on doing my hair?
Do I pretend I don't really mind,
That this effort wasn't for you?
Or do I just over do it,
And pray you think it's cute?
Ok, I'm well out of my depth,
And you're well out of my league,
But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna try,
Come on, take a walk with me.
