Truthfully
If I told you I loved you
Would you stand up and leave?
Would you tell me to stop joking?
Or would you actually believe?...
When I say things from the heart
My heart leaves with those words
Because truthfully,
My heart breaks in thirds
One part of my heart
Is for you and me
Well, I'm saving it for us
Because we are yet to be
The second part of my heart
Is for my music I write
Because you and I both know
It is my only other light
But then my last piece
Well it goes to the world itself
Because although I don't look the part
I care more for it than I do myself
See, I am also human
Although actions speak otherwise
And I also don't like rejection
Especially from those eyes...
Would you stand up and leave?

My heart leaves with those words
