Crawl Across My Heart
The eight legs blocked my vision,
This creature known to most superstition.
Mesmerized by the stripes on it's back,
Venom turning my sight black.
Trying to figure out its secretive lies,
But I'm warped in its multiple eyes.
The poisonous fangs pierced my skin,
Yet I was only bleeding within.
Spinning webs where we were torn apart,
If only the spider had a heart.
This creature known to most superstition.
Mesmerized by the stripes on it's back,
Venom turning my sight black.
Trying to figure out its secretive lies,
But I'm warped in its multiple eyes.
The poisonous fangs pierced my skin,
Yet I was only bleeding within.
Spinning webs where we were torn apart,
If only the spider had a heart.
