The Smile It Brings That You Are Gone

What will happen today
Is still far away
What will happen tonight
Is probably not right
How I judge you
How I act
How you thought that it was backed
By lies and not the truth, well it probably saved you
And
I'm just trying to get by with what I know
I'm just trying to hide the truth, the lies they always show
And I can't help you anymore
As I see you fall to the floor
Well it breaks my heart
It tears me apart
But what's done
Is all for fun
And I can't change what's happened
And all my thoughts have been siphoned
But I could have tried
And maybe you wouldn't have died
But in all honesty
I may have received amnesty
From the political sloths
Who feed from their trophs
And now I don't have to run
From what I have done
But I cannot lie
When I did it I had to smile
Though ripping apart your heart was a bit vile
But it brings happiness to me
To know you are gone
Now I won't have to see
How much your demise has been prolonged
But can enjoy my tea
While laughing upon the grave of thee.
