Sometimes ... I Wonder
And sometimes I wonder,
What's the point of smiling
When you really feel like crying
Because deep down inside you're dying
And you're hurting
Because nobody seems to realize
The pain that you're truly going through
And sometimes I wonder
If you're missing me
Just as much as I'm missing you
Because it hurts not knowing if you think of me too
And it tears me apart
Because I still love you
But you don't seem to realize the pain that you're putting me through
And sometimes I wonder
What life would be if we were still together
Because you see I never forgot the feeling that I felt when I was with you
And I never erased the memories
Because even though my heart was destroyed I still loved you
And I was hoping you did too
And sometimes I wonder
If I ever cross your mind
Because somehow, someway you're always on mine
And it brings tears to my eyes
Because you broke my heart
And I hoped that you understood the pain that you put me through
But you never understood how much it hurt to still love you
And sometime I wonder
If you really did love me
Because I truly fell for you
And I was hoping that what we had was real
Because I truly loved you
And I thought you did too
But now I'm not so sure
And sometimes I wonder
What's the point of sitting here with music in my ears, just thinking
Because all I seem to do is wishing
Wishing on a near star
For me to have been warned of the danger my heart was going to face
When I fell for you
But see I took the risk in believing the lies you told me
Because I had hoped that somehow you would prove to me that everyone is different
But I was wrong
Because you turned out to be just like the rest
And sometimes I wonder
When the tears will stop falling
Because all I seem to do is cry
And I am getting kind of tired of it
Because I want to forget about you
And I want to erase the pain
But I can't seem to erase the memories
That still have me attached to you
And sometimes all I do is sit here and wonder
What's the point of smiling
When you really feel like crying
Because deep down inside you're dying
And you're hurting
Because nobody seems to realize
The pain that you're truly going through
And sometimes I wonder
