The Recluse

I am of a certain age,
Where I'm expected to go out and rave,
But all I want to do, is sit and chill,
20 years old and I've had my fill.

'I'm off partying', and I'm out the door,
And I really shouldn't lie anymore.
My lies are quick as cunning as a fox,
So I can have a few hours to play on my Xbox.

Escaping to a virtual life,
Saving the world isn't really strife.
With my faithful bottle of Pepsi max,
My life is great, how can you beat that?

There are a few things missing, that's true,
But when I'm a hero on this world, I'm not missing you.
With my scimitar shotgun, I can chill out,
I'm a recluse, this is what life's all about.
