Pain With no Cause
Dive her car to the bridge
So far away, but you can hear her teeth cringe.
Running in circles in her head
As her children lay in bed.
One last thought of what once was
She knows the pain, but not the cause.
Slam her foot on the gas
All that is left is a c,ast
Where she sat in that car.
She openes her eyes one last time.
She is not alone at the bar.
She doesn't understand
How she made it so far.
But in reality, it is as if she is stuck in tar.
So far away, but you can hear her teeth cringe.
Running in circles in her head
As her children lay in bed.
One last thought of what once was
She knows the pain, but not the cause.
Slam her foot on the gas
All that is left is a c,ast
Where she sat in that car.
She openes her eyes one last time.
She is not alone at the bar.
She doesn't understand
How she made it so far.
But in reality, it is as if she is stuck in tar.
