The Skyline Darkens

[font=Times New Roman]My throat swells up with nervousness
my words build up with pride
lightning strikes the situation
as if to simply guide.
He pulls away, his arm rose up with pain
his voice trembles,
for violence has no gain
his blue eyes search for answers
questions swimming in the sea
linger on to be unanswered,
simply questions they will be.
My furry rises up my throat
explodes til there's no longer hope
the sun sets and says good bye
to hopes,
to dreams,
they were a lie.
They skyline darkens
questions lost out there,
answers frozen shut within the winter air.
