Country Love
Yeah I’ve been driving, I’ve been away
Oh so long you see.
Yeah I’ve seen the sun set
On every corner in the country
And I’ve seen trouble all those days
The good, bad, and ugly
That’s why I fill my drink up
With the words that I don’t say
Oh yeah I’ve been driving,
I’ve been away, oh so far away.
The only thing I know is that
nothing ever stays the same.
You can’t argue with the past
Or with things you can’t change.
You’ve gotta smile at the bullshit
And learn to laugh at the pain.
Yeah I’ll drive,
I like to drive my wheels
all through your country love
I done walked that mile just to
Come back home to you
The ways of this world got me
feeling down so low
And that’s why I need
To come back home to a face I know
Oh so long you see.
Yeah I’ve seen the sun set
On every corner in the country
And I’ve seen trouble all those days
The good, bad, and ugly
That’s why I fill my drink up
With the words that I don’t say
Oh yeah I’ve been driving,
I’ve been away, oh so far away.
The only thing I know is that
nothing ever stays the same.
You can’t argue with the past
Or with things you can’t change.
You’ve gotta smile at the bullshit
And learn to laugh at the pain.
Yeah I’ll drive,
I like to drive my wheels
all through your country love
I done walked that mile just to
Come back home to you
The ways of this world got me
feeling down so low
And that’s why I need
To come back home to a face I know
