The Hunter

When the universe was spawned  
multitude of stars were formed,
a hunter was born
majestic and strong!
 
To protect from the dark energy
the stars worked in perfect synergy,
creating a distinctive pattern
of pretty stellar bluish lanterns.
 
Brightening up the cold winter sky
poised between Taurus and Gemini,
holding in hands a club and a shield
Warrior of God in the cosmic field.
 
Forged with nebula and fire
standing tall in hunter's attire,
Orion, O' the king of constellations-
totem of preservation and protection.
