you said life seemed so perfect
when we were animals
like children in the sand
we didn’t know what we had
and life wasn't as miserable
so tell me how to look you in the eyes
knowing you’ve been consumed by lies
don’t tell me I’m living in the past
you secretly want to be there too
sometimes it’s hard telling you the truth
what’s the point in fighting anyway?
you put me down once again
so go fuck yourself my friend
you said life seemed so perfect
when we were animals
you had a reason behind those eyes
now that reason has faded away
so let me claw you one last time
for I can find out if you think of me
because I think of you
out of all my friends
I thought I could rely on you
but when you lie and denied the fact
that we could be young forever
it takes away from innocence
you could have just said no
and walked away from the drugs
now you spend your days on the floor
while I spend my days building a future
we were brothers
but now this is goodbye…Forever
