Witnesses of a No-God
Depressevangelicals,
a curious subculture
that has emerged
over the last few decades,
represent an intriguing phenomenon
in the religious and social scene.
With depressive tendencies,
these individuals find
in the evangelical hosts a refuge
for their anxieties and frustrations,
at the same time that they seek
to impose their opinions and concepts,
often devoid of logic and coherence.
Literarily, they can be compared
to tragic characters,
whose lives are marked by an incessant
search for meaning and belonging.
Their actions, while often irritating
and irrational, reveal a deep need
for connection and validation.
Through their interactions with others,
they expose the frailties
and contradictions of human nature,
offering a mirror for society
to reflect on its own imperfections.
