Decem
The Queen’s Tarot (Decem) The name, “December” itself comes from the Latin word decem, meaning “ten,” as it was the tenth month in the ancient Roman calendar.
However, no specific Roman person or deity was named after December, I was a little surprised all the zodiacs I have thoroughly researched.
I have gathered all the Zodiacs, and even some of the Calendar Days were named after some Roman God, Goddess, or some form of Roman festive event.
The month December did retain its numerical origin even after the calendar was restructured.
December, the twelfth and final month of the year in the Gregorian calendar, is rich with symbolic meaning and cultural significance.

A Little Mythology
Greek Mythology- Capricorn is linked to the God Pan, who was half-goat and half-man. In one myth, Pan transformed into a sea-goat to escape the monster Typhon. He leaped into the Nile River, and his lower half became a fish while his upper half remained a goat. Zeus honored Pan's bravery by placing him in the stars as the constellation Capricorn.
Babylonian Mythology- The sea-goat appears in Babylonian star lore as the god Ea (or Enki), a deity of wisdom, water, and creation.
Enki was depicted as a goat-fish, symbolizing fertility and the life-giving properties of water.
Enki, also known as Ea in Babylonian mythology, is a god of wisdom, water, creation, and fertility. He is often associated with the sea-goat, the mythological creature representing Capricorn.
The Connection Between Enki and Capricorn
Symbol of the Sea-Goat- Enki's symbolic representation as a creature that is part goat and part fish mirrors the Capricorn constellation.
This dual nature signifies a balance between the earthly (goat) and the spiritual or subconscious (fish) realms, much like Enki's role as a bridge between human life and divine wisdom.
Water Element- Enki is a deity of freshwater (called the Apsu), emphasizing themes of life, renewal, and abundance. This resonates with Capricorn's connection to persistence and growth, as water shapes and nourishes the earth.
Wisdom and Adaptability- Just as Enki is associated with intelligence, strategy, and guidance, Capricorn embodies disciplined wisdom and the ability to overcome challenges through steady effort.
Enki’s mythology is simply amazing, the relic of now knowing what you knew not, being aware, at this point adds depth to Capricorn's symbolism, tying its qualities of determination and ambition to spiritual awareness and harmony with nature.
It is an honor to discover such a sacred placement of Enki (A Sumerian Deity Of The Anunnaki).
Here is some more on Enki, who, is in my upcoming, novel (A Thousand Years From Forever).
