Many more words I could lay on this page About you, about us, my mind in a haze
My memory fading, It was moons ago
Pen bleeding thoughts on cruise control

projecting imaginary lullabies, in lieu of our story
I never could be sure of how you felt about me
You opened my heart and left it on the verge of nothingness
Avoiding me like the plague, god is my witness

I would have moved mountains for you, I think I still would
You deprived yourself of the engine that could
For what it's worth, I thought I was played
If it wasn't the case, you would have stayed...
