rocks are forever
some give flowers

hand picked from Mother Earth,

This is perfect.
It reminds me of Forest Gump. In a good way. He had no ill intentions. He was purely good in a basic sense. And somewhat genius, in that he would see a rock and a flower as value the same way.

This is everything! I used to love when my grandson brought me rocks - I still have an entire tin box of them.

What a lovely poem this is. I love rocks and stones (collected them as a kid) so I rather receive a rock as a gift than flowers. I even gifted someone a rock - see, you took me on a little trip down memory lane :-)
