Redeem the Fallacy of Innocence in a Child
Redeem the fallacy of innocence in a child.
Murmuring a lullaby in the half-light about
the world full of sunshine and angels
restrains a child to discern
the crackle of fallen trees,
she'll grapple to breathe in the fragrance of
foulness floating in the breeze.
Teasing the fear in her through phantom fables
will only make her too fribble
to take heed of the fuming eyes
keening through a peephole
from outside of her window.
