My Daydreams
As I lay in unfocused daydreams;
You believe that it must be of flowers and rainbows.
I am afraid to say that this is far from the truth,
My daydream is much darker; it would sicken you to know.
And so I continue to delay my confession,
My confession to you, and to myself, maybe then it will hide.
But you will interrogate, so much so, that one night while I’m sleeping,
You get your answer, the harsh truth, without me knowing you now know.
Although,
You weren’t scared; I thought you would be, you thought you would be.
It slightly disturbs you, only because of your sense of morality.
You find it quite appealing; do you want to be a part of this with me?
Please do, join in; we can share the sick and the dark together, not for others to know.
