Sublimation of Higher Choirs
I am Master
I take from sinners’ lips
From tongues defiled
From voices drowned in woe
I stand ‘fore Mine Maker
In light too dread to bear
Yet still, I gaze
And in that gaze
I forgive thee all
Thy sins—willing, unwilled
Buried deep or sung aloud
Branded ‘pon thy withered soul
Lo, I purge, I stain, I sanctify
A blade, a fire, a whisper cold
Flesh and spirit, dust and breath
Bound in sorrow, torn by time
Kneel
For I am holy
Kneel
For I am immortal
I take from sinners’ lips
From tongues defiled
From voices drowned in woe
I stand ‘fore Mine Maker
In light too dread to bear
Yet still, I gaze
And in that gaze
I forgive thee all
Thy sins—willing, unwilled
Buried deep or sung aloud
Branded ‘pon thy withered soul
Lo, I purge, I stain, I sanctify
A blade, a fire, a whisper cold
Flesh and spirit, dust and breath
Bound in sorrow, torn by time
Kneel
For I am holy
Kneel
For I am immortal
