oh merciless enchantress of darkest hours
siren of endless thoughts
mistress of my torment
sweet devourer of sleep
how violently you return to me
night after night

your fingertips leavin burnin trails

we tangle in sheets of unrest
limbs entwined til dawn
remember how I begged for mercy
drownin our love in bottles of amber
three years free from those liquid chains

you unravel me
each caress ignitin thought
where whispers turn to savage poetry
and silence screams your name
draped in shadows
crowned with stars
you remain my beautiful destruction
