Memories
This picture here upon the wall
Happy days, one recalls
Pictures tell a thousand stories
Teenage love, the early forties
My love, my wife, her eyes shone through
Forever love, a heart so true
Through a lens, memories hold
Now and then, in these photos

Dear P,
Utterly charming write. The rhyming flowed wonderfully and having photos by which we can keep memories alive and dear to our hearts was lovely. H🌷

I like your poem, but I have to say I think that’s the most wonderful photo I’ve ever seen. :)

This reminds me of my grandparents. He called her his sweetheart until the day he died. Always holding her hand. If she walked into the room, he instantly focused on her & his eyes lit up. I don't think he ever saw her aging. She was always his sweet girl. Beautifully written ❤️
