Bad Weather

The steady whistle of wind
Thought to be the rough roar of a tsunami
I grab my bear and rush across the house
While the trees begin to sway

The blinding strike of lightning
Thought to be the light of death
My brain starts turning uncontrollably
Will this be my last night?

Just a simple drizzle
Thought to be a disastrous thunderstorm
It keeps me up all night
I will be groggy in the morning

Just a light thunderstorm
Thought to be a vicious tornado
It never fails to frighten me
For to me, it's like a spontaneous hurricane.
