Feline On the Prowl
Feline On the Prowl
Her face decorated for Samhain
With feline whiskers and ears
Whose lipstick is a Gothic smirk
Painted in red and black shades of midnight
When the witching hour
Turns into the inner cat
Of a woman morphed
Into a purring succubus
With one cheek painted in the white
Of a Japanese Geisha
And the other pink with her natural complexion
As she gazes from eyes
That have known the dark corners of the city
Where her black sheen shimmers in moonlight
As she prowls with a hunger
That knows only the smoke and fire
Of dreams consummated
Her face decorated for Samhain
With feline whiskers and ears
Whose lipstick is a Gothic smirk
Painted in red and black shades of midnight
When the witching hour
Turns into the inner cat
Of a woman morphed
Into a purring succubus
With one cheek painted in the white
Of a Japanese Geisha
And the other pink with her natural complexion
As she gazes from eyes
That have known the dark corners of the city
Where her black sheen shimmers in moonlight
As she prowls with a hunger
That knows only the smoke and fire
Of dreams consummated
