Image for the poem Too Old to Ferry

Too Old to Ferry

Haberdasher of the souls
inked in chill too old to ferry
now sold to the highest bidder
"one dollar bid, will ya give me three?"
as dark as the spit from pole to shoals
hung by the fate of parchment's scrolls
and crumbling bones apprentices wear
tighter than a whore's chastity belt
inked in chill too old to ferry
"one dollar bid, will ya give me three?"
