Woodpecker
Two woodpeckers on the same tree,
Both living how they wish to be.
A calm and cautious, a chaotic and turbulent,
A steady and clear, a wild without fear.
A house perfectly made,
Black and white.
A house made with grooves,
Filled with life.
"Can't you be quiet?"
"Can't you be loud?"
A question they both would ask,
While hiding behind a careful mask.
Both living how they wish to be.
A calm and cautious, a chaotic and turbulent,
A steady and clear, a wild without fear.
A house perfectly made,
Black and white.
A house made with grooves,
Filled with life.
"Can't you be quiet?"
"Can't you be loud?"
A question they both would ask,
While hiding behind a careful mask.
