Disir, power drumming journey

North, place of dark
of winter, in and between
shimmering dark
we greet you

East, place of rising sun
of spring, springing lambs
springing water wells
we greet you

South, place of Summer
of prospect and prosperities
wind, we greet you

West, place of risen sun
of sunset, autumn , fallen leaf
of transformation
we greet you

Sacred center
first of circles
Disir, foremothers, tree mothers, grandmothers
star mothers, fire mothers, wind mother, all mother
we greet you

Fire, flame flake
Freyas face is seen in the fire of creation
Freya we hear you as you whisper
the secrets of the runes into Odins ear
through the life tree, the forests
is heard your voice

Freya...chanting
we receive your secrets
hear your whispering well
as we weave invisible threads
of the web we hear the wisdom

as we fly the hymn of hooting owls
cries a name, Valkyrie ....chanting
Valkyrie warrior warrioress  warriors
through the glimmering dark
speaks a splintering tongue

on the wings of a night moth
is born the infinite butterfly
the shard, the torch

as we enter Sagas hall
Saga.....chanting
I am Saga, prose, poetry
I am the quill

I am the ink, the infinite ink
the awakening eye
I am the mead in the goblet
the archer that soars in-on the wind

wind you are my mother
infinite ink, artisan, you are the art
of poetry reincarnated
in the here and the now

Author's Note
a ceremonial piece I did a few years ago, the Disir are the feminine energies and spirits, our ancestorial feminine connections be it biological spiritual or other worldly. Anything you relate to from the rooted branches of the word family. No pre written script was used to create the words these are given to me during the drumming. I felt it was a good time to repost this piece.
