Unmaking
Before the first breath, I was the end.
The silence no time could transcend.
I am the truth beneath all lies,
The death that swallows even skies.
There is no light, no spark, no flame—
Only the hollow that bears no name.
Do you hear it? The fading hum?
The pulse of all undone, undone.
I am the shadow, I am the maw,
The crack where every thought will fall.
I take, I unmake, I leave no scar—
The void eternal, where none are.
No voice, no form, no star will gleam—
I am the end of every dream.
You think there’s meaning, think there’s grace,
But all will drown in my embrace.
I am the weight no will can hold,
The darkness vast, the all-consuming cold.
I am not cruel; I do not feel—
I am the truth you can’t conceal.
Do you feel it? The quiet pull?
The unraveling of the beautiful.
I am the shadow, I am the maw,
The crack where every thought will fall.
I take, I unmake, I leave no scar—
The void eternal, where none are.
No voice, no form, no star will gleam—
I am the end of every dream.
Your gods are dust.
Your stars will fade.
Your oceans dry,
Your flesh decayed.
I am not waiting—I am here.
The grinding halt, the final fear.
There is no past. There is no now.
There is no future—I disavow.
I am the hollow beneath all things,
The silence where no memory clings.
I take, I erase, I leave no trace—
The void eternal, your last embrace.
No voice, no form, no star will gleam—
I am the end. I am the dream.
There was no beginning. There will be no end.
I am all that was, and I will descend.
Unmaking worlds, unmaking time—
Reducing all to the sublime.
