Forgive me

I’m sorry if I can be too much to bear,
A whirlwind of feelings that fill the air.
Each heartbeat a whisper, each tear a refrain,
I pour out my soul like an unending rain.

I care with a heart that knows no retreat,
Yet sometimes I fear I’m too quick to repeat.
The stories of love, of joy, and of pain,
As if I were bound by this sweet, wild strain.

I know that my heart can be heavy and bold,
Like a river that rushes, too passionate to hold.
I’m often caught wondering if I’ve crossed a line,
If giving my heart is a burden, but you never actually asked for mine.

In my mind, I wrestle with shadows of doubt,
Have I given you space, or spiraled about?
Too much, I admit, is a truth I embrace,
For I care at an unyielding pace.

But I’ve learned from the scars of my past,
That love can be reckless, a flurry that casts
A net of emotions, both vibrant and true,
Yet, sometimes, I wonder why I allowed myself to fall in love with  you.

Should I temper my fire, hold back with restraint?
But how does one cage their own instinctive trait?
Like an Aries... I'm intense, I dance in the sun,
An all-or-nothing spirit, I can’t help but run.

So if you should whisper, “You’ve become too much,”
Know it’s not you, dear; I know it’s my heartfelt clutch.
I can only love with a boundless embrace,
Sometimes it’s fierce, sometimes it’s full of grace.

Let me not faulter, this is just me.
A tapestry intertwined with joy and sometimes agony.
I can only love wholeheartedly,
Sometimes, even when it's not mutually.

Either way, I’ll cherish this journey, however it goes,
For this heart knows one rhythm, and she endlessly flows.
