The Barter System

I have not heard that word in such a long time, and as I stated, the will of Allah, places people, events, or occurrences in my path, so I may be ordained to bring these words to you.

I was called from my place of employment by one of my Jewish-faith based neighbors, detailing my birds got out their coop.

I got home and thank goodness I had some organic particles food on the blanket of grass, they all wandered to the back of my yard, and my coop is located on its own grass landing, and secured bi-lateral to my brownstone, okay, the point I am getting at, what do you know about the Barter System, times are coming and something tells me, we are going to be using that type of economical exchange of supply and demand, and bartering at times for your survival.

I would advise we are in a new year, have a stock of canned goods, and dry good, powered milk, bags of rice, wheat flour, canned milk, make sure if you do have a pantry, and you stock can foods, make sure you rotate your stock, do make sure if you ever have to eat out a can, the content inside are safe, and not outdated, If any of my canned food are six months near expiration, I would donate it to a homeless center.

Now back to the barter system, make sure you have a product, a tool, or a food item(s), from there, the concept is what a person/neighbor does not have, and you have, within the exchange of serviceable goods, you both walk away balanced.

Since I am a vegan, I do exchange the eggs from my birds with my Jewish faith-based neighbor, who operates a Daycare, and she buys them from me and her spouse sells me my fabric next to nothing, therefore, we both are getting offers that moves us along, no promises, no contracts, just when you can, or if I need, it is always good to have that second sense of reaching your goals by the good deeds from others.

It is a new year, make sure you are prepared, times are going to get a little chaotic, and it will not be televised on your social media sites, it will happen every time your POTUS or Congress wants to enforce laws or mandate old laws.

I will not make this mental offer lengthy, just make sure your household has an escape plan, a backup financial plan, in case the banks go belly up, and buy some low value stocks, or Saving Bonds, they do grow in interest.
