I’m just surprised it wasn’t clear
those mistakes of mine
were futility
and ALL but you
I now see true
Were mistakes
I should have known
There is only ONE
You
Only was, only is,
Only ever can be
Close in every way
(though across
this hopeless space you stay)
So, my Friend, my Love, I pray
Return and be
Close to me
Heart bound in heart, I plead
most earnestly
Be my home
