By The Side ...
A cry unheard beneath the sky
The world moves on, it does not see
I stop, though fear says pass him by
His hand outstretched, a muted sigh
His face a mask of frailty
A cry unheard beneath the sky
The shadows whisper, "Let him lie"
Yet something deeper beckons me
I stop, though fear says pass him by
The crowd ignores, their glances dry
Their steps a rhythm, cold and free
A cry unheard beneath the sky
I kneel, though fear says I might die
His wounds, a testament of plea
I stop, though fear says pass him by
What strength remains, I will supply
For in his pain, humanity
A cry unheard beneath the sky
I stop, though fear says pass him by
The world moves on, it does not see
I stop, though fear says pass him by
His hand outstretched, a muted sigh
His face a mask of frailty
A cry unheard beneath the sky
The shadows whisper, "Let him lie"
Yet something deeper beckons me
I stop, though fear says pass him by
The crowd ignores, their glances dry
Their steps a rhythm, cold and free
A cry unheard beneath the sky
I kneel, though fear says I might die
His wounds, a testament of plea
I stop, though fear says pass him by
What strength remains, I will supply
For in his pain, humanity
A cry unheard beneath the sky
I stop, though fear says pass him by
