Lady Desire

I give up on needing you
Cared about yourself
More than you cared to help

Yeah, yeah “all in this for myself”.
Anchored in, weighing me down
Yet I’m think I’m feeling something else

I forgot to swim
In a sea of gin.
Instead, I drunk it all!

Cheers! To everyone
A toast to sin
When the grandeur fades, I fall

Through the glaze you look great
All I wanted is one taste.
Bottle up all my devotion

To the brim, while seduction is a bonus.
Long wavy hair
Pretty blue eyes

Oh my my!
Reminiscent of the oceans
Would make me forget the time.

What’s the date? Ah, never mind
And then I awaken
To find I fell for the temptress.

Wandered her plane
Felt like a punch to the face
Pain, in excess.

The wrath of your subliminal messages
Then again, love remains lawless
Lured into the pit
In which I find no exit

Drinking liquid depression
One after another
In quick succession

Using me to feed your emptiness
Learned my part in this
I am just another victim

Lady Desire
Do you feel what I felt?

What did you choose?
To care for yourself
What do you see?
When your soul bleeds?

Don’t leave me longing
I feel your affect on me, baby

Taunting
Do you do this for a feeling?
Or is it involuntary?
Like a ghost, so scary!

My head feels like it’s warring
Can’t figure you out
You don’t wanna live a life thats boring
I know you too well, pretty lady

Foolish endeavors are only temporary
Regret of what was or what wasn’t
That’s forever, baby

Ignore the excruciates
If life’s questions are rhetorical
There’s no reason to contemplate

Who knows of our fate, but God
Peace and love every day
We all knows it’s hard to hang on

Lady Desire,
Why am I unworthy?

Ignore me, but give me something to need
Pull my strings
Demand I dance for thee

Love and warmth
All from you
When you embrace me

Lady Desire,
Your touch is a fallacy
You need me as much as I need you

I begin anew
Even though it might hurt,
Because without me
You’ll lose control too
