For Whom The Eight Bells Toll

Two times two times two
My bell rang, pre dawn
The day after the anniversary
Of my mothers death, i yearly mourn
But not allowed the silence
In the quiet of the early morn
An unappealing pealing
The ringing ceased not
Intentions ill-got
Eight times this bell did ring
Eight times my heart sunk, did not sing
Yet for nigh on three weeks
I had some peace
Now again i'm ill at ease
Hoping to not hear
From the lord of the rings
Hoping, not coping
In this current dystopean existence
Perhaps.........
In a parallel world
It would be i
The ringer of the bells
As i exist
Within someone elses
Own kind of hell
Perhaps, in a parallel world
There'd  be no sound at all
Just a murmuring of silent ghouls
